Welcome! It's nice to see you here.
We are a liberal church: old in tradition but modern in outlook. We are CATHOLIC (which is just an old word that means 'universal', like ALL Christian bodies should be; available to & for everybody).
BUT (& it's a big 'but') we are not part of, nor share the divisive biases/mysogynies of the Roman Catholic Church; such as its views on abortion, gay marriage, queer rights, the ordination of women being principle among them.
Neither are we perfect, far from it, but we have started with the benefit of hindsight, & are determined not to repeat the mistakes of others, which we achieve largely by sticking wholly to The Great Commandments & Commission of Jesus, which you will find at the heart of everything we believe & do.
Jesus gave the apostles the 'rules' of the New Covenant His sacrifice was making, once again, between God and His greatest creation ... us:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul & with all your mind. This is the first & greatest commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (John 13)
The Great Commission he gave to those around him, just prior to his ascension, saying: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matt 28)
